Inspirational Stories Deal with Responses to Everyday Issues
You are always only one choice from making a difference.
Would you like to make a difference if you had the choice? Are you one that is only satisfied by trying to change the world in one fell swoop? Or are you satisfied by making a difference through many small contributions on a consistent basis? There are many inspirational stories that deal with responses to everyday issues.
We have an inspirational story to illustrate our point, but first, we want to introduce an everyday issue to use as the basis of our example.
The everyday issue is racism. We don’t want to get into an emotional argument over the significance of this issue. We certainly believe we in the United States have made excellent strides in reducing this issue. But we still have a ways to go.
We recently read an interesting article on this issue from the Huffington Post. The article was using The U.S. Supreme Court ruling 5–4 in June that a key provision of the 1965 Voting Rights Act designed to prevent racial discrimination in certain voting laws was no longer necessary.
